第四季开始，艾美奖得主Uzo Aduba饰演新主角，治疗专家Brooke Taylor医生。她将在诊疗中面对多元化的三位病人，与此同时也在与自己的问题作斗争。
Joel Kinnaman将饰演Adam。他是主角医生Brooke时分时合的男友，现在再次出现，让Brooke的生活变得更加复杂。
