简介:

民国时期,神偷多只手(石天 饰)纵横天下,他的偷技高超,鲜逢敌手。更为难得的是,多只手是一个侠盗,专门做劫富济贫、惩恶扬善的义举。他还收养了七个无家可归的孤儿,和他们一起建立一个快乐的神仙窝。他还有个梦想,能早日攒够钱办孤儿院。   秃头警察包大鼻(麦嘉 饰)得罪了新来局长(午马 饰)的老丈人,被罚去抓多只手。两人你来我往,精彩过招,期间包大鼻也渐渐为多只手的义胆所感动,不忍将其逮捕,而多只手也不愿为难包大鼻,自愿束手就擒。这可急坏了神仙窝的七个孩子……

简介:

古代,西北大漠,边关小镇野山关\r\r  马匪头目马大疤子看中了一个叫羊庄的地方,开始跟羊庄村民进行圈地拆迁的谈判。羊庄的主事人老杨头认为老祖宗的羊庄不能拆,谈判破裂。马匪露出本色,扬言要强行圈地。老杨头儿和全村人商议后,凑钱派牧民草根和教书先生范见去镇上请刀客来保护羊庄。\r\r  草根和范见初来到处碰壁,只好找到一家刀客经纪公司,因为钱不够,被刀客经纪人东方大侠冷落,他们对能否找到刀客倍感茫然。\r\r  草根和范见入驻小客栈“小二黑的店”,被老板设计坑掉了草根和范见用来请刀客的盘缠。钱没了,刀客还没着落,草根走投无路想跳楼自尽,结果被落魄的老刀客孤独求败所救。\r\r  孤独求败早已被江湖遗忘多年,穷困潦倒,很想再干一票大事,赚够养老金后从此退出江湖。在草根和范见的祈求下,孤独求败答应可以先救羊庄,后付酬金,但必须还要再找两个刀客作为帮手,否则根本不可能打败那么多马匪。\r\r  刀客经纪人欧阳小白找来了瘸腿的失意刀客鬼脚六,号称是鬼脚七的哥哥,早年因为太过招摇被人打成了瘸子,从刀客沦落成跑江湖的卖艺人,尽管如此,他的胸口碎大石也让没见过世面的草根和范见为之一振。\r\r  年轻刀客苏盖儿一腔热血却常常把事办砸。他自诩行走江湖,只不过是到处吃霸王餐,实在混不下去了还要讨饭为生。他阴差阳错的遇到了甜妹,甜妹对他一见倾心。当他遇到刀客经纪人东方大侠后,以为自己遇到了星探,极力要求加入了这个拯救羊庄的队伍。\r\r  草根和范见说出盘缠已丢的事,经纪人东方大侠傻眼了,草根和范见给刀客们打了一张白条后,他们一行人朝着羊庄进发了。\r\r  他们到达羊庄后,在牧民的眼里,刀客们看上去老的老少的少,完全是老弱病残,牧民们十分怀疑他们的实力,担心靠不住。把女人们和好酒好肉都藏起来。鬼脚六把自己的江湖马戏拿出来,演了一场“狼来了”加“空城计”吓唬村民,树立了刀客在村里的权威。\r\r  马贼都没有如期而来,无聊日子里,鬼脚六偷吃了老杨头的鸡和范见的酒,羊庄的村民开始抱怨养了这群白吃白喝的刀客。在孤独求败的指挥下,刀客们开始带领牧民们开始制造各种防御的武器和机关。\r\r  苏盖儿与甜妹暗生情愫,范见知道后,反对他们在一起,而甜妹希望苏盖儿带着她远走高飞。\r\r  马匪终于来了,激烈的战斗开始了。刀客带领牧民们巧妙的利用地形,将马匪们包围,分割,各个击破。终于利用“鬼打墙”“回形阵”等机关,把马匪逼入了山谷深处,又冷又饿,他们只能以树皮草根充饥,把唯一的财产——马都杀了烤着吃,马大疤子破产了。\r\r  尽管羊庄保卫战大获全胜,但还是付不起刀客的酬金,孤独求败撕碎了欠条,从此消失于江湖。\r\r  苏盖儿放弃了爱情,继续追逐自己的江湖梦去了。\r\r  羊庄的老杨头儿从拆迁中看出了商机,将羊庄改造成了西部旅游度假村,并且聘请鬼脚六当了羊庄度假村安保队队长。\r\r  马大疤子决定金盆洗手,解散了残余的马匪,跟小玉回到野山关镇,小玉用自己的积蓄开了一家新的旅馆,名叫”同福客栈”,范见做了掌柜。

简介:Fraught with over obvious symbolism, Hartley's early feature is nonetheless a joy to watch. Hal here shows us his uncanny ability to cast his characters perfectly came early in his career.  Adrienne Shelley is a near perfect foil to herself, equal parts annoying teen burgeoning in her sexuality (though using sex for several years); obsessed with doom and inspired by idealism gone wrong she is deceptively – and simultaneously – complex and simple. Her Audrey inspires so many levels of symbolism it is almost embarrassingly rich (e.g., her modeling career beginning with photos of her foot – culminating her doing nude (but unseen) work; Manhattan move; Europe trip; her stealing, then sleeping with the mechanics wrench, etc.)  As Josh, Robert Burke gives an absolutely masterful performance. A reformed prisonerpenitent he returns to his home town to face down past demons, accept his lot and begin a new life. Dressed in black, and repeatedly mistaken for a priest, he corrects everyone (I'm a mechanic), yet the symbolism is rich he abstains from alcohol, he practices celibacy (is, in fact a virgin), and seemingly has taken on vows of poverty, and humility as well. The humility seems hardest to swallow seeming, at times, almost false, a pretense. Yet, as we learn more of Josh we see genuineness in his modesty, that his humility is indeed earnest and believable. What seems ironic is the character is fairly forthright in his simplicity, yet so richly drawn it becomes the viewer who wants to make him out as more than what he actually is. A fascinatingly written character, perfectly played.  The scene between Josh and Jane (a wonderful, young Edie Falco . . . You need a woman not a girl) is hilarious . . . real. But Hartley can't leave it as such and his trick, having the actors repeat the dialogue over-and-over becomes frustratingly arty and annoying . . . until again it becomes hilarious. What a terrific sense of bizarre reality this lends the film (like kids in a perpetual am notare too argument).  Hartley's weaves all of a small neighborhood's idiosyncrasies into a tapestry of seeming stereotypes but which delves far beneath the surface, the catalyst being that everyone believes they know what the unbelievable truth of the title is, yet no two people can agree (including our hero) on what exactly that truth is. A wonderful little movie with some big ideas.
